Organizational License FAQ:

Q: What does a TBRI 101® Organizational License allow me to do?

A: The organizational site license allows organizations to use TBRI 101 as a resource within your organization. The course may be shown to a group, or course keys may be lent out for individuals to go through on their own.

Q: Which level should I purchase?

A: Please purchase the level that corresponds with the number of people who will receive TBRI 101 training. You may purchase any combination of the levels to reach the number of people who will view the course.

Q: What is a course key?

A: A course key is a protected flash drive that holds the TBRI® 101 video content. These flash drives can be plugged into the USB port of any computer, but may not be copied.

Q: How long will my organization have access to TBRI® 101?

A: Organizational Licenses allow access to TBRI®101 indefinitely. However, misuse of TBRI® 101 according to the terms and conditions may result in your license being revoked.

Q: What is the difference between a course key and codes?

A: The course key is a protected flash drive that holds the TBRI® 101 video content. These flash drives may be played in any computer with a USB port, but may not be copied.

Course codes may be distributed to individuals and may be used up to one year from the purchase date. These work well for individuals going through the course on their own.

The course key may be used to show TBRI® 101 material in a group or to be “checked out” by individuals to go through the course on their own.

Q: Can course codes be re-assigned if an employee leaves our organization?

A: No, but they can use a course key to go through the course.

Q: Can course keys be replaced if they are lost or damaged?

A: If course keys are lost, they can be replaced by purchasing a Level 1 license. If the key is damaged, please call our office and we will assess the situation.

Those who take TBRI® 101 are not licensed to train in TBRI®.

Q: How is TBRI® 101 different from the TBRI® Caregiver Training?

A: TBRI® Caregiver Training is taught by TBRI® Practitioners who have successfully completed TBRI®Practitioner Training. It is an in-person, interactive training with curriculum designed by the Karyn Purvis Institute of Child Development and includes corresponding workbooks for each session. TBRI® 101 is a series of eLesson videos developed and taught by Dr. Karyn Purvis and Dr. David Cross. It does not have an interactive component.

Q: Will I receive a certificate of completion at the end of TBRI® 101?

A: The Purvis Institute will not issue certificates of completion or continuing education credits for those who purchase the course.

Q: May I use TBRI® 101 to train others?

A: If you purchase an organizational license for TBRI 101, you may use it as part of your organization’s training curriculum. If you are interested in training others in TBRI®, consider becoming a TBRI® Practitioner.
