Danica Kalling Knight, Ph.D., serves as Rees‑Jones Director of the Karyn Purvis Institute of Child Development (KPICD) and Professor of Psychology at Texas Christian University. Her work focuses on the dissemination and implementation of Trust‑Based Relational Intervention® (TBRI®) across systems of care, including child welfare, juvenile justice, education, and courts. A nationally recognized implementation researcher, she has led NIH‑ and SAMHSA‑funded projects and authored more than 75 publications advancing mental health and substance use care responsive to individual and community needs. Danica is deeply motivated by collaboration, mentorship, and partnerships that bring lasting change for children and families.
