Associate Director of Training & Consultation Services

Daren Jones, Ph.D., serves as Associate Director of Training & Consultation Services at the Karyn Purvis Institute of Child Development (KPICD) at Texas Christian University, where he leads the Outreach Team in equipping individuals, organizations, and systems of care with Trust‑Based Relational Intervention® (TBRI®).

With a background in social work, Daren brings more than a decade of experience serving youth and families in therapeutic day treatment, residential care, and foster care settings. He joined KPICD in 2014 as a TBRI® Training Fellow under the mentorship of Dr. Karyn Purvis and Dr. David Cross. Daren is deeply committed to fostering sustainable systems change through trust‑based, relationship‑centered practice.
